Hello and welcome to the Vanderbilt Theta website! I'm Caroline Rippeto and I am the CEO (President) of the Alpha Eta chapter. I am a Sophomore from Houston, Texas. At Vanderbilt, I'm a Child Development major with a Medicine, Health, and Society minor. I am so honored and excited to have been selected to serve as President of Theta. I also serve on the Nominating Committee, Member Development Committee, Risk Management Team and Executive Recruitment Board. In my term, I hope to continue what our previous president started with working to diversify within our chapter and strengthen relationships with the greater Greek community. I will also work to continue Theta’s commitment to personal relationships with all members of the house across grades, high academic achievement, and involvement in campus organizations. I am so thankful for Theta for all the people and opportunities it has provided me with and I am so excited for a great year!
Hi! My name is Nathalie Turner and I am the current Chief Administrative Officer. I will be supervising the general mechanics of Theta in 2019. Hi! My name is Sophia Sjögren and I am a sophomore from St. Louis, MO. I am a Law, History, Society and African American Diaspora studies double major and I love my history classes most of all. Theta has been a place where I have met some of my closest friends but have also found new opportunities within the Vanderbilt community that have helped me become a better student and friend. I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve on the exec board to help continue the tradition of personal growth and women supporting women that I have found in our chapter.
Hi! My name is Sterling Akers and I am Theta’s Chief Learning Officer. I am an Anthropology major with an HOD minor from right here in Nashville, Tennessee. As CLO, or New Member Educator, I organize all of the educational programming for the chapter. I also work closely with the new member class, managing their transitions and acting as a mentor and a liaison for them. I also focus on helping them adjust to Greek life and to our chapter specifically. I’ve loved being in Theta and I feel so lucky to get to serve on the Executive board and to build close relationships with the new members. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions about the new member process or educational programming.
Hello! My name is Tiffany Sato and I am from Los Angeles, CA. I am majoring in Human and Organizational Development and Medicine, health, and Society and minoring in Business and Special Education. As the chapter’s Chief Financial Offer, I am in charge of all of the chapter’s financial transactions. This includes paying rent, keeping track of member dues, and donating money to our philanthropies. I have enjoyed learning more about Theta’s financial operations and working with other members to make sure that everything we do runs smoothly. I am honored to serve on the Executive Board and am looking forward to a great year.

Hi! My name is Sabina Smith and I am a Sophomore from Malvern, Pennsylvania. At Vanderbilt I am studying Engineering Science with minors in Engineering Management, Scientific Computing, and Human and Organizational Development. I am so excited to serve on the executive board this year as CPO! I look forward to increasing Theta's engagement with other Panhellenic houses and houses from the other Greek councils. Theta has been such a positive experience in my time at Vanderbilt, and I hope that by serving on executive board and working with the Panhellenic Council I can support other women in finding a home within the Greek community.
Hello! My name is Lauren Bauer and I have the privilege of being Chief External Affairs Officer for the Alpha Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta. I am a Medicine, Health, and Society Major from Orange County, CA, aspiring to become a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. I am beyond excited to take on this executive position! My duties include orienting the image of Theta, overseeing fundraising, alumni relations, service, and any other external affairs between the Nashville Community and Kappa Alpha Theta. It is perfect for me and an amazing creative outlet. I will be leading our Chapter's biggest service endeavors through our annual events such as Parent's Weekend and Stomp. I also oversee our communication with parents, members, the community, and alumni through social media outlets and keep our Chapter up to date on our social media platforms. I am ambitious and passionate, and cannot wait to work alongside the other extraordinary girls serving on the executive board. Beyond organizing all major Philanthropy events and Theta Catered Lunch, I hope to strengthen our ties to Nashville-based service organizations and companies through blossoming relationships!
