Chief Executive Officer
Hello and welcome to the Vanderbilt Theta website! I'm Morgan Hurst and I am the CEO (President) of the Alpha Eta chapter. I am a junior from Dallas, Texas. At Vanderbilt, I'm a Human and Organizational Development major with a concentration in Community Leadership & Development. I am so honored and excited to have been selected to serve as President of Theta. I also serve on the Nominating Committee, Member Development Committee, Risk Management Team and Executive Recruitment Board. In my term, I hope to strive not only for diversity within our chapter but most importantly inclusion. I want all members of the Vanderbilt community to feel comfortable and welcome in seeking membership in our chapter during recruitment, and also for upperclassmen students both in and out of Greek life to feel comfortable approaching our chapter to plan events or any kind of programming. I also hope to encourage our members to engage more actively in non-Greek campus events to show Vanderbilt how well-rounded, intelligent, and dynamic our chapter is. Finally, I will work to continue Theta’s commitment to unparalleled house unity, superior academics, and women's empowerment. I love the organization of Theta and all that it has afforded me and I am excited for an especially great year with the new Executive Board and all of our members.
